Great Quality Wallet. Color is more Burgundy than Brown!

Very happy with the quality of the wallet. It's amazing. It's almost perfect for what I am looking for in a zip wallet. The only 2 subjective things I could wish for is the outer stitching - if they used contrast colored thread it would be so much better instead of same color stitches as the leather. Also, I ordered a brown wallet expecting it to be brown. In real life the leather color is closer to burgundy and color 8 cordovan than brown. I dislike the reddish hues very much and almost caused me to consider returning it for a different color instead. The interior steerhide leather is a very nice shade of light brown but I wish they did not put shiny varnish on the edges because it cheapens the look of the otherwise nice color. In the end it is still a fantastic wallet despite my subjective niggles so I will keep using it hoping the redness of the leather goes away with constant use. I would highly recommend this wallet for the quality however if I were to buy it again I will go for the blue or green instead.
