This series is inspired by Japanese tatami rooms, where natural wood and delicate shoji screens create a calm, simple beauty. These elements are reflected in the design of the bags, sharing a sense of Japanese tranquility with the world.

Hand-Set Metal Logo

Each letter of the debossed TSUCHIYA KABAN logo is individually hand-set using 13 metal parts with meticulous precision.

Crafted with Water-Repellent Materials

Both the high-density nylon and leather details are water-repellent, making the bags ideal for rainy days and easy to clean.

Framed Structure

A lightweight board is built into the nylon to create a frame that supports the shape where needed. This keeps the bag light while helping it stand tall with a clean, structured look.

Elevating Black with Black

The metal fittings are coated in a rich black finish, darker than the black nylon. This layering of black adds sharper definition and enhances the design’s refined feel.

Premium Italian Nylon

The main material is a high-density nylon called “Davis” from Italy’s Limonta, a company highly regarded by luxury brands worldwide. It features a perfect balance of firmness, a smooth texture, and a subtle, elegant sheen.

Balancing Soft and Firm

The structured frame gives the bag a solid shape, designed to contrast with the soft, unlined nylon for a balanced look.

T-Shaped Zipper Pull

This series features a distinctive T-shaped zipper pull, combining stylish design with easy grip.

Magnetic Buckle

The backpack and crossbody bag use FIDLOCK magnetic buckles for easy open and close. Each buckle is specially printed with the TSUCHIYA KABAN logo.
