Ame Series is made with Waterproof Fine Leather, a leather with an exceptionally balanced texture that has been treated with 3M's Scotchgard water repellant. The treated leather possesses outstanding water- and oil-resistance that preserve its original appearance and prevent water, oil, and stains from being absorbed by linings (both leather and fabric) or scratch marks. This light leather has a special allure not commonly found in leather bags. With a smooth texture that feels like soft skin to the touch and a soft luster that gives it a premium look, Ame leather is a practical waterproof leather that is light and easy to maintain.

We have chosen to keep natural markings such as scars, wrinkles, veins, and pores on the cowhide to showcase the natural appearance of the leather in our products. This is one of the most distinctive features of our bags. The appearance of the leather will vary depending on the part of the hide and individual differences between animals.
