The Diario series is made from steerhide that first undergoes vegetable tanning and then is immersed in oil to become Oil Mellow Leather. The leather comes with natural creases, scratches, and dark pigmented spots, and has ample thickness and tensile strength. It takes a skilled craftsman to make leather that is soft to the touch yet firm, durable, and tough. The luster and softness of this leather will only increase with use and age.
