Natural Morbido Leather

Natural Morbido Leather

Natural Morbido Leather reveals the original and simple texture of natural leather. The more you use it, the richer the patina it will develop.

"Morbido" is Italian for "soft and smooth." Natural Morbido Leather is a type of Nume leather that is tanned using vegetable tannins, and then dyed and fatliquored with an adequate amount of oil and wax. These processes preserve the natural qualities of the leather, including the grain, blood vessels, and colored patches. The leather will feel slightly hard at first, but will become softer and smoother with use over time and develop a unique patina.

The Look of Natural Leather

We have chosen to keep natural markings such as scars, wrinkles, veins, and pores on the cowhide to showcase the natural appearance of the leather in our products. This is one of the most distinctive features of our bags. The appearance of the leather will vary depending on the part of the hide and individual differences between animals. Through careful observation, you will uncover your leather product's unique, one-of-a-kind appearance.
