Application Guideline

Eligibility to Participate:
Participation in the "Share Your Tsuchiya Randoseru Story" campaign ("the Campaign") is open to individuals who own and use Tsuchiya Randoseru products and reside outside Japan.

Submission Method:
To participate in the Campaign, participants must agree to this Application Guideline ("the Guideline") and submit their episode and photos (collectively "Submitted Works") via the form available on the designated Campaign page. Each episode should be approximately 100 to 300 characters in length. Additionally, participants must submit at least two photos featuring participants’ Tsuchiya Randoseru, with it worn or not.

Application Period:
The Campaign will accept submissions from May 15th, 2024, to June 15th, 2024 (JST).

Announcement of Results:
The results of the Campaign will be announced on June 28th, 2024 (JST). Winners will be notified via email. Please make sure that you can receive emails from team-en@tsuchiya-kaban.com. In the event that contact cannot be established with a winner, the award will be deemed invalid.

Prizes:
Founder Kunio Award: 1 winner will receive one of their favorite bags from the Founder Kunio Award collection.
Tsuchiya Kaban Staff Award: 1 winner will receive one of their favorite accessories from the Tsuchiya Kaban Staff Award collection.
Early Bird Submission Award: 5 winners will receive a leather coaster.

Selection Method:
The episode chosen by our founder, Kunio Tsuchiya, will be awarded the Founder Kunio Award, while the episode with the most votes from Tsuchiya Kaban staff will receive the Tsuchiya Kaban Staff Award. In addition, the first five participants to submit their episodes and photos will be selected for the Early Bird Submission Award.

Rights to Submitted Works:

By participating in the Campaign, participants grant Tsuchiya Kaban CO., LTD. the right to use the Submitted Works free of charge for publication on our official website, our official social media accounts, and other related media, or obtain permissions necessary for such usage by us from third parties who have the rights to Submitted Works.
Tsuchiya Kaban CO., LTD. assumes no responsibility for any rights related to the Submitted Works or photographic subjects (especially portrait rights). The participants guarantee that the Submitted Works do not infringe any third party's rights, and ensure that they have obtained consent from the photographic subject and the copyright holder of the Submitted Works before submission.

Usage of Personal Information:

Your personal information will be used for contacting you regarding the selection of winners and sending prizes.
Your personal information may also be used to introduce our company and various products and services to you. Please note that if you wish to stop receiving various information and notify us thereof, we will promptly stop sending it.
Your personal information will not be disclosed or provided to third parties other than our outsourcing partners without your consent (except as required by law). Your personal information will be managed by Tsuchiya Kaban CO., LTD.

Additional Information:

Submitted Works may be used for promotional purposes related to the Campaign. Please be aware of this in advance.
If selected for the "Founder Kunio Award" or "Tsuchiya Kaban Staff Award," winners' names, addresses (up to country level), and ages will be published on the Campaign/our official website, our official social media accounts and other related media along with their episodes and photos.
The Campaign may be suspended or canceled due to unavoidable circumstances.
We may amend all or part of the Guideline when necessary.
This Guideline is governed by the laws of Japan. If there is a need for litigation regarding the Campaign, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that violates the Guideline or is deemed inappropriate.
